 At this level you focus on hand eye coordination in the right hand, playing simple, repetitive patterns. The music uses very few notes and easy rhythms to build confidence. 

At this level, you'll move the right hand up and down the piano, changing finger positions more often. Simple rhythms introduce quavers (eighth notes) and basic use of the left hand.

Simple left-hand parts are introduced as players begin coordinating both hands together. Basic music theory and notation reading support the development of easy hands-together playing. 

Players start to understand most musical notations and develop stronger hand-eye coordination. Both hands work together to play more complex and varied patterns across the piano. 

Players have a strong understanding of notation and focus on refining articulation, speed, and technique. Rubato playing and rhythm recovery are introduced to build expressive and resilient performance skills. 

All fundamental skills are well established, allowing for confident, expressive playing. Pieces challenge the player with unusual subdivisions, difficult runs, and quick leaps across the piano.
